After approximately 4 days of scanning the Z4MC we have got the data we need. The blue laser scanning allowed us to capture hundreds of millions of data points all over the car. This is not just for the Canards and Splitter but also for other future projects I have in mind.

The scans allow us to reverse engineer hard points, mating faces and establish no-go zones. What is very encouraging is that the photogrammetry is already very accurate in the easy to reach areas. The illustration below shows a partial capture of the underneath.
The next step is to reverse engineer the local surfaces and start finalising the Canard Design.
