Here is another option for cupholders. The stock ones, even if "improved", fail based on location IMO. My knee invariably finds them entering/exiting the car.

Anyone else think the Germans just added these fragile things as a joke--more or less insisting we leave the beverages outside the car? Not that there's a lot of room for beverages in the cabin, but the cupholders in my E92 and Cayman weren't much better...Oh well, I'm German, and I don't really "drink and drive".
