Excellent writeup and congrats on the car! DarkstarZero must still be in tears for letting her go.
For those who haven't done the fly & drive home with their car purchase... it MUST be done at least once in your life. It's an experience you'll never forget! Reading your post made me remember my own experiences (although not with my MC).
