Been in the loop on this race since the first rumor, subscribed to every available newsletter. Recall writing in and signing onto some petition to help get the race approved by city council, as encouraged by the race organizers:

October 23, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. – Miami Gardens City Council discussion regarding Formula 1 (18605 NW 27th Ave., Miami Gardens, Florida)
October 29, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. – Miami Dade Board of County Commissioners vote regarding Formula 1 (111 N.W. 1st Street, Downtown Miami, Florida)

Be sure to attend these meetings, and ask friends to do the same (tag us on social media!). When you do, tell your elected officials during the “public comment period” that you support Formula 1!

Oh hey, no worries. I wasn't, you know, expecting to be able to buy tickets or anything.

At least we didn't book hotels and make arrangements on the basis of these communications like many others. Inflated tickets now available to F1 fans via scalpers. Well done, race organizers.
