Geeked out yesterday. I installed an outdoor WiFi antenna to shoot signal out to a remote building that was never wired for low voltage. I used a TP-Link CPE510, which I bought quite a while ago but never installed. It uses PoE (Power over Ethernet) so all I needed to run was ethernet and a ground wire. It still meant clambering around the roof trusses! The result works well but I will doubtless lose some signal strength when the leaves come back.
