I'm currently using the open back on the full (not skeleton) case with a mic muffler on the back. Kind of looks like a raccoon toupee. Here's a link to the site I purchased it from. I'm also using their drop in polarizing filter.

Edit: I also try to raise the hood between sessions, as I've seen some issues from heatsoak back into the camera. It lets me pretend I'm one of the forced induction guys...
Very cool. Thanks for the info. Oh, does the skeleton back help with the camera overheating? Have you considered using the full skeleton case? Or do you think that's too risky on the track even on dry days?
