A long time ago, the factory strut brace fender mount on my '04 3.0i broke off (number 6 in the attached image, p/n 41007193040) and I am now looking to fix the mount. When it originally broke, I bought and used the ultra racing 3 point brace off of eBay as the fix. However due to a change in my local CCA autocross rules, this aftermarket brace will push the car into a higher class and I need to revert to the factory braces, or run without.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so, is this something a YouTube Certified shade tree mechanic like myself can fix or is this something a body shop needs to handle?
