The factory heated elements are sewn into the factory covers. The covers would need to disassembled in order to use them. Then the Lseat covers would need to be disassembled and have the elements sewn in. The time and cost did not seem worth it. I thought putting after market heated elements in was a better option. I just got an extra shifter surround to drill out so I still had my factory one and placed the switches there.
