Yeah it looks simple, but isnt for me. I can't get the shift knob off
and after removing all 4 screws plus the front switch panel it feels like its still held in by something else.
I think the car they are doing that DIY on is older than mine and I don't know if its different.
In figure 26 it says to remove the "rear vent trim panel" and I don't know what that is.

At the top it shows the DIY is for years 2003-2006 and mine is a 2007 model.
