So I'm thinking, does the shift knob weight really make a difference? If it does some lead tape or other ballast could be added to several options. Years ago I used lead tape (got it from a Superfund site
) to weight tennis rackets. Huge difference and I could change balance to head light or head heavy. If stock needs more mass then there are some eco-friendly approaches I'd guess.
