What he's saying is "navigation delete". I was stalking a potential purchase from Eric in 2018 and we were discussing the nav vs non-nav cars and their relative value. He told me that a non-nav car could bring as much as $4k more than a nav-equipped car. That sounds like an exaggeration to me, especially considering that some people actually prefer having it. But I'm squarely in the camp that wouldn't even consider a car equipped with it.

I'd think removing it wouldn't be that hard - you'd need the non-nav head unit to replace the original one, but those aren't hard to come by nor expensive. There would be some coding involved I'm sure. But then how to cover that massive hole on top of the dash? Sourcing a non-nav dash would be an option, but that sounds both expensive and labor-intensive. Just covering the hole then having the dash re-done in leather by an upholstery shop would probably be much cheaper and look great too.
