Maybe I am just bad with the whole search thing but I have not found a post that specifically answers my question. So I had a cylinder 6 misfire and tracked it down to a bad spark plug which I changed myself. The check engine light is still on and I am wondering if there is a way to remove it or if I have to pay a dealership to clear it. I used to just remove the battery cables for 15 min and it was gone but after reading everything with batteries and our cars it scares me so insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
