I’ve run Toyo R1Rs, Falken Azeris RT615Ks, and Nitto NT01s on 8.5 et35 up front. I’m running Federal 595 RSR-R on the 9” rims.
245/40/R18 nominal width is 8.5”. On 9” rims it doesn’t look stretched, but the RSR-Rs has zero rim protection so the slightly (0.5”) wider rim when laid flat, the metal of the rim touches the ground.
