I'm not sure how accurate this is but I was told if you butcher the dent DIYing it the PDR guys won't be able to fix it afterwards. My old M3 had a serious dent in the rear quarter that the previous owner tried to tap out from inside the trunk; I had to live with the scar the whole time I had it.
If you're looking for a PDR guy T at
Dent Xpress in Mississauga does good work and is highly regarded by the BMW guys in the area. I've never gone there myself (nor am I affiliated) but I've had friends go and I couldn't spot the dent after the fix.
