Top down, collar up, driving gloves, heated seats and warm air blowing on my feet. That's good below 40 with the sun out and easily in the high 40's at night. I would rather drive with the top down in the 40's properly dressed, than in the 90's on a sunny day.
This babe at the gas station was just an ass and not worthy of your consideration. Frankly I feel sorry for her because she is stuck with herself and obviously doesn't get it.
My wife and I did the Blue Ridge Parkway on Spring Break (She’s a teacher) about 6 years ago and drove hundreds of miles with the top down with temps in the 40's and 50's. She loved it as much as I did.
