As you increase rotor diameter, you need to decrease piston size to compensate. Otherwise, your brake torque will be too high and the brakes will be unbalanced.

In that case there is no increase of brake torque (force x torque arm), so can someone explain to me what's the purpose of installing a bigger brake.
