I think what you are proposing is doable. My only suggestion is to use your run for the warmup prior to lifting. Getting a good stretch and the muscles pumping is very important to avoiding injuries while lifting. Also assess what your goals are from lifting such as maintaining or building of muscles. Enjoy your work-outs.
