This is a reverse blistered hood. This exact hood style wouldn't work on the Z4 at all.
But look at the hood on the Z4M. The two ridges on outer part of the could serve as the start of a reverse blister that terminates halfway to the roundel. |

That hood looks great on the M4, but kind of looks too busy for it to fit aesthetically on a Z4 imho
