We would recommend the following fitment for your application:

Front: 18x8.5" ET35 - 235/40-18
Rear: 18x9.5 ET22 - 275/35-18

OR

Front: 18x9" ET30 - 235/40-18
Rear: 18x10" ET25 - 275/35-18

Please keep in mind that with the 18x9 ET30/18x10 ET25 fitment, a 245/40-18 tire is not recommended. That tire is a bit too tall and might cause extra headache when it comes to front clearance. We would recommend sticking with a 235/40-18 tire for optimum fitment on your M Roadster!

A 275/35-18 in the rear should clear in the rear given your current camber at -1.5˚ but we cannot guarantee this, as every car is a bit different. Ride height and tire compound can play a roll in clearance to the fenders.

The 18x8.5 ET35 and 18x9.5 ET22 fitment listed above will be a direct fit for your application and will not require spacers or fender work, provided that you stick with the tire sizes we have outlined. Below is a photo of this setup with our EC-7 wheels for reference:

Max, thanks for detailed response. I’m surprised 245 is too tall considering it’s still 1/3” shorter than stock. So then I guess my next question is how much camber is necessary to stuff a 245-255 up front? This would be for a road course setup so I would prefer more grip up front. If I am limited to 235, then I might even dial the rear back to 265, using same rear width recommendations as above. Thoughts?
