My m3 came with those harnesses installed by the PO. No aftermarket seats. They plugged into the rear seat belt receptacles to replicate the "harness bar", but that's not feasible on a z.
I don't really have anything bad to say about the harnesses though, they fit well and snugged me into the seats.
