I'll second that recommendation. Staggered for show, square for go!
265/35 will give you slightly lower final gearing which will liven up the car. Fight the temptation to go with bigger rear tires. They'll only slow you down unless you change your diff gearing.
If rub is an issue, I would even suggest 255/35 square.
You might want to also consider Bridgestone RE-71R tires.
