Really, it's a slippery slope! But it sure is fun!

You may know about these already--can't tell as you're newish here, but the best bang for the buck mods are, IMO: CDV delete, transmission mounts, and Turner Camber Kit (works for the "M" model only, and great if you take your car to the track or Autox) and alignment. With labor (cheaper if you DIY), these come to about ~250-~300 dollars (YMMD).

Aside from that, ditching the runflat tires if you have them (non-M models) makes huge difference as well. Not necessarily cheap, but putting a set of PSS on a car with runflats will = new car for the most part. (See PSS thread.)
