For
some cars, yes - mine came from the factory with the H5 (and factory slide-in side bracket for same). I replaced it with the longer H6, and had to buy the shorter BMW bracket to secure it properly. I put the part numbers in the spreadsheet comments.
Always confirm what you have before purchasing ...
