BMWCCA will not allow them except for the Heart of Dixie Chapter which piloted a new insurance program which allowed hard-tops on convertibles. I'm not sure how that worked out yet. Hopefully Peachtree follows suit.

SCCA and NASA have more lax rules when it comes to convertibles. You can find more information on their websites. Also some of the smaller groups like MVP, ReZoom, JZilla, etc. allow convertibles.

IMO, I'd be careful bringing a convertible to the track. In a roll-over scenario, you're a goner regardless of the safety equipment from the factory.

Oh, and this is my car. I'm "I Love BMWs" son and I just picked up my M Roadster as of 2 weeks ago. I live on the south side of Buckhead but work up in Dunwoody. Sorry that it's dirty in the photo, we drove it 1200 miles from Boston to it's place of birth.

OH. my. GOD. We have the EXACT SAME CAR!!!!

I've GOT to take a picture with the twins. Lmao.

Sorry for the excitement but BSM/Imola is a (relatively) rare combo, especially in the same state lol.
