I didn't read all of your original post as I am not that knowledgeable about the technicalities of sound systems however I do want a better listening experience in my car. I am no so sure about changing the head unit as I do not want to have to put the original in the truck so I don't begin having errors, I will tell you what I have to put in it, if you don't mind you can tell me what you think? I was going to take out the factory sub behind the seat, take out the trunk tray and make boxes in the trunk for the two subs.
