I finally decided to pull the trigger on test fitting my home made CF canards/dive planes. I've been him and hawing over whether or not I liked the shape, and potentially mounting 4 instead just 2, then getting the angle I liked that seemed to be potentially functional.
I'm sure these will divide some people, love or hate type thing. But I'm going to move forward and starting drilling the bumper this week. I've done a test fit and the angle you see is specifically to match the existing curve in the front bumper which is already present as a design element.
Here are before and after pics,
yes there are some gaps for the keen eyed as the lip is not mounted yet and the gaps need to be filled between the canards and the bumper. That will wait until I get the bumper itself repainted after finally drilling the mounting holes (stone chips need to go).
Thoughts?
