I live in the New Orleans area. Drivers will cut into lanes here to avoid waiting an extra minute in the correct lane. Apparently some feel like their time is more important. Doesn’t matter what you’re driving, some people are just horrible drivers.
I was behind someone 2 days ago in the left lane of a 2 lane hwy, speed limit is 70 they are driving 58-60 along side of the car next to them. After about a mile and a dozen cars now behind them they slowly move past the car in the right lane. I passed stayed in the right lane but see them speed up to come and pass me. Now I’m going almost 80 so this person went from 60 to over 80 and I had already passed them to get into the right lane to exit. Anyway my opinion is that some people just drive like the road was built for them only and have no thought of anyone else on the road.
