I agree Masi had to go, I always thought he was a bit of a bumbler.
As others have posted, the race should have been stopped with 5 or so laps to go, reset for a nail biting race to the finish, had that happened & Max managed to beat Lewis then his WDC would have been 'clean'.
Yes Max had a great 3/4 of the season....but MB & Lewis had done enough to bring themselves back into contention & to be fair the last race & the WDC were Hamilitons, maybe the end under a safety car may not have been ideal but had the safety car not been deployed then Lewis would have carried on romping away with the win & taken his 8th, so I can understand Lewis, MB & their supporters being more than a tad miffed
For me it was the ideal result, Lewis not beating MSC 7 WDC & Max's WDC being somewhat tainted...& that rankles the Max fanatics
