Curious what others have paid recently to get their rod bearings replaced. I'm getting quoted 3K for the job here in San Diego. They provide all the upgraded parts and oil change with this pricing.

I was hoping this was going to cost closer to 2k. Doesn't look like that's going to be the case. :-(
