Thanks for your reply, very informative post. That Dinan unit is exactly what I wanted, except they cost 3X what my E30 ones were, and deliver 1/3 of the camber shift. The GC and vorschag ones don't retain the OEM rubber-isolated mounts, so won't work for my goals.

I love my Z, but my E30 is far easier to work on and parts (including mods) are a fraction of the cost. I just retired on the cheap and need to sell one of my BMWs. This type of thing is why I'm favoring hanging onto the E30, even though the Z is a much better car overall.

Dinan makes a fixed plate for the non-m Z4. They are, however, quite expensive for what they are (~$325+). At that price the Ground Control plates are about ~$50 more and the Vorshlag plates are ~$125 more. From my understanding, the GC plates are more daily friendly and the Vorshlag are more intended for autocross and track.
