Most definately, i bought this after learning that one of my standard factory brace mounts that run from the firewall to the strut mount had snapped. The reweld and paint cost $450 to do and so I bought this to add extra strengthening which everyone should do on these cars. BMW have a new mount brace part which is stronger from the factory as they knoe that they break here. I owned a z4m but didnt get to put it on.
