Are you refering to these subframe bushes that raise the subframe 8mm?

As for rake, I would expect they would lower rake without raising the ride height to compensate. In the end, rake is adjustable.
I haven't found confirmation that there really is a benefit to raising the rear subframe. I suppose it sounds logical just like roll center correcting front control arms. Although with an upper and lower control arm suspension, as opposed to McPherson strut, I'm skeptical of the benefit. Also, are there any adverse affects to driveline angles?
