[RESOLVED] Is it possible to code out the Headlight Level Sensor?

Hi guys,

I recently developed a code with the headlight vertical level sensor. I had a new one handy, so I decided to go ahead and replace it.

At first, the code was 34 vhac front load sensor lsz

After replacing the sensor, and clearing the codes, the 34 code disappeared but I now have two new codes:

30 control unit error in VHAC-part
31 stepping-motor defect

I've tried clearing them in INPA but they come back as soon as I start the car. Do I need to drive around first?
EDIT: driving around did not help

Important notes:
- the little plastic arm on my sensor has been broken for 6 years but this error only showed up a few days ago
- the replacement is a brand new headlight vertical level sensor, aftermarket/non-OEM
- I do not need the headlight sensor as I am running Spyder HID headlights
- I am lowered on ST coilovers

My car came with factory Xenon headlights which I've replaced with Spyder headlights. I understand the Halogen headlights do not use a headlight level sensor.

In that case, should it not be possible to code out the level sensor altogether? If so, how?

Your help is always appreciated
