My dad had a three year old Z06 when I was 16 and he let me race it at driving events. I learned great car control but was a very responsible teen. It definitely depends on the person. He wouldn't let my brothers drive the car. The BMW street survival class would be great for your daughter.
I did buy my first car and had a great appreciation for it. Looks like a fun car for your daughter.
