How may events will these last before they heat cycle out?

Looking for NT01 grip but something more street friendly (noise, comfort, driveability in wet). On flip side if they heat cycle out quickly I may take the performance trade off for longevity and step down to a sticky street (e.g. Z3 or RS4).
