The bimmerworld intake is pretty much exactly the same as the Karbonious one and all the other copies. I'd be surprised if there is half a horsepower between them. The vac race box is probably your best bet, but not the best for daily duty. Especially with epic behind the tune, I'd say Randy has probably optimised the tune for that box.
At any rate, you'll find it's a trade off, and unless you have supporting mods in engine, exhaust you'll loose power and torque. Either way, you'll still be trading low down torque for horsepower in the band.
That's just the way it is.
