Went to put down my last chihuahua this morning. Got three of them around 2000-01. The first one went Feb 2017 and the second one the following Feb. 2017 was the first time I had to put one to sleep and there was ugly, uncontrollable, running nose crying from the moment I had him in my lap on the way to the Humane Society until I got home. Second time it was less crying and with this one it was kinda “I’m glad he’s going to see his brothers now.”
I’ve got a 9 month old golden now that I might get a small brother for so he won’t get lonely but I’m scared they might wreck the house. He’s really good all things considered and hasn’t chewed into anything big like furniture and I don’t want to change that with another dog that’ll get each other riled up playing around.
