Can you post close up shots of where the lip meets the trunk lid from both sides.

I will do that over this weekend.
Due to the curvature of the trunk and specially where this lip sits, I think the fitment is close to perfect. There is no straight nor flat spot at this part of the trunk. No wonder most other lips either avoid it (OE style) or cover it (Alpina style)
The bottom of the lip is closed up and matte black in color to create a mounting surface. Because of my concern regarding ease of installation, the mounting surface is curved ever so slightly to fit the edge form of the trunk. I can position this lip in seconds without masking tape. It feels like this lip just "clicked" into its place. I think the workmanship and fitment is very good.
