I've look at dozens of BMW drivers demand and torque maps and I've never seen one that does not provide full power unless it's an emergency map or similar. The difference between sport and regular mod is simply the shape of the curve.

searched it deeper and yep, you folks are right - it goes to WOT in normal mode, just not as fast as in sport. Please ignore my "fake news" in this thread
