It works incredibly well. I'm really beyond pleased with both the dust extractor and the sander (ETS EC125/3). The dust extractor is so much quieter than a shop vac and it seems to capture about 99.5% of the dust. My wife sanded 2 sides of our kitchen island, so, about 30 sqft of black walnut veneer, and after I ran my hand over the white island counter top and could not see any dust on my hand! it took her maybe 30 minutes to sand all the old satin off the 30 sqft of veneer with 120 then a final with 220. it's pretty aggressive and fast at material removal yet agile and controllable enough that she was able to bust it out in record time and not sand through the veneer. No fish eyes even if you move fast. The sander is super light with a low center of gravity, well balanced, and has so much less vibration than my Porter Cable and Bosch random orbitals.

Two big thumbs up for both tools!
