Just bought my first M in Las Vegas and drove it home via LA and the 101 to San Francisco last week. Apparently there's no front plate law in Nevada so the bumper is pristine. I think I'll leave the front end that way until I get pulled over. If I remember correctly it's just a fix-it ticket here in CA. I drove my old Z3 around for a long time before being cited for it. And then I think all I had to do was have an officer sign off on the correction.
p.s. I'm in love with my car. I have a problem.
