Every time I find something old and interesting to enjoy in the U.S., I remember how
everything in England and Europe is incredibly old! Best of all, in England they never tear down any old ruins, and they generally let you wander around at will. They may have roped off Stonehenge, but did you ever visit the Riveaux Abbey ruins? Just fantastic.
