Everyone hold your horses! I too fell into the "they are crap bandwagon" before when ZomkSpeed sold replacement headlights for the X5.

A company by the name of DEPO, which sold through ZomkSpeed, sold me a pair of headlights for my 2001 X5. I purchased them for two reasons a) I wanted Angel Eye lights and it would be prohibitively expensive going with BMW (yes folks, we all know their parts are way overpriced) and b) My old headlights were pitted after years of driving in the Northeast.

I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED when I got them. The materials used were OEM quality!

The particular lights I got were with Xenon projectors. They are 90% as good as the OEM projectors. The glass that DEPO used is not as good as Hella, but it's so good you will not notice the different in driving (I only noticed because I compared the two against my garage door). How can you complain for $500 (what I paid for mine at the time)?

Don't knock the messenger, I'm simply saying don't say these are crap just yet until someone gets a pair and gives their review.

Depending upon the manufacturer they could be a great replacement for our headlights. Rememer OEM BMW ones are $900 a side if you have Xenons.

Chris
