There might be some differences car to car- with the OE pedal my car would not start with the UUC Clutch Stop, that is why it has been stored in the garage for the past two years and the reason why the Z4 is not listed for this application on the UUC website. Some later model E46 M3s had the same issue. I am not sure if there is a difference between the Z4 and Z4M in this regard.
