Z4 AUX input question

Thanks in advance. My Z4 is a 2006 M Roadster, with NAV/Carver audio upgrade.

I was originally starting a DIY project, with the Universal Garage Door Opener in mind (using a UGDO control purchased off of eBay), like this:

(Thanks for the pic and advice, inTgr8r!!)

I ordered a spare plastic panel (the one that is just below the HVAC control panel), as they are cheap, and I wanted to practice on one to get it perfect. Turns out they shipped the wrong panel - the one I received fits, but it also has a hole on the passenger side, rectangular, which I seem to recall is meant for an AUX input. It looks like this:

I was going to return this panel, but then got to thinking... why not do both the UGDO mod, AND install the AUX input??

I think I have the UGDO mod under control.

My question is this: can anyone help me out with the AUX input part? I have searched everywhere, and can't find a part number for it. A DIY would be fantastic. I am thinking that the ashtray AUX input looks too small.

Thanks, all. Hope you can help me out.
