Played Mariner's Point today (9 hole par 3 short course). I try to play there about once a month to work on the short game and whatnot.
I took a lesson a few days ago, first formal lesson, and the instructor had me tweak a few things that felt new / slightly unnatural on the range, but I said what the hell I'll try it on the course.
Ended up shooting a personal best 28. I guess she knew what she was talking about
.
Go get lessons if you haven't - it's worth it. My best score there previously was a 30. I'm a 9 handicap currently. Shooting dang near even par is my goal for the year - get my handicap down to a 3-4 so I can start qualifying for actual money tournaments.
