Damn skippy.
There's not a professional pilot out there (and I know a few) that wouldn't have tried to pull every trick in the book to "dead stick" it in and pull off a miracle-- it's hard wired into you after training-- you never, ever give up on the jet until after impact.
Even if you *know* you're going to die, you don't give up the fight.
