I disabled the bulb warning before I even got a chance to install the bulbs so can't say for sure. But everything I've read from others is unless you actually install resistors, error free bulb will result in errors from BMW's.
Side note - I just completed the projector upgrade and the output is now ridiculous with the Osrams lol. If you compare the pics in that new
thread vs here, the improvement in distance is just crazy.
