Very secure. I think even if it got accidentally stepped on the CF extensions may give before the screws in the skirts do (although these non-Skyer extensions are quite thin and not of great quality).
Annoyingly I do have a
very slight gap, but that is more of a result of me using thicker 3M tape than I probably needed to, and also because the extension was produced slightly short of the factory skirt and the rubber edging is pinched between the two creating a space. It's a very small gap, but enough that small pebbles tend to get stuck in between from time to time.
I could fix it easily with a bead of silicone, but I'm not 100% sold on the look just yet that I want to do that right now.
