If you are planning on lowering the car quite a bit
AND running 275s, then the roll is needed. Otherwise, you may get off with 255s or 265s at most, with no drop.
10.5" rear with low-20s offset is just too aggressive for the stock fenders. It's unfortunate that BMW didn't give the M models wider, more distinctive fenders
